I found some really great products this summer. These are some top shelf items.
On cooler days, I’ve been living in these. They are so comfortable; the denim isn’t so light that I feel everything is visible but not so heavy that it’s uncomfortable. I love the high rise and button fly. I’ve been reaching for them over ever pair of denim I own, and I’m tempted to by another wash in this style.
I bought this combo after hearing Kathleen Lights and Rawbeautykristi rave about them. It’s pricey, but I don’t wash my hair often, so it’ll last me awhile. Also, I bought them during the Sephora VIB sale, so that helped a bit. These have the best smell. Fragrance doesn’t seem to last on my hair very long, but when I use these I notice it. They smell like banana Laffy Taffy mixed with a delightful sunscreen. Like how it would smell if you passed a family applying sunscreen at the pool. It’s really nice if you are into those fragrances. I am. I also prefer using them in combination. The shampoo leaves a squeaky clean feel. That works, though, because the conditioner is so thick and nourishing. It has a pudding consistency. I love it. It makes my hair feel hydrated but not heavy. The packaging is so cute because they look like little juice bottles. This one is limited edition, and I’m tempted to by another pack for the future.
I bought this during the Sephora VIB sale after trying a sample. The first time I applied it I was skeptical because it felt almost gel-like. However, this stuff it great. It’s balmy and melts right into my skin. It has the lightest pleasant smell. The packaging is hygenic and also keeps me from using too much. It’s pricey, but I feel like it’s going to last a while.
I love a good clay mask. The Glam Glow version has been holy grail status for a long time, but this one is now the reigning favorite. I think it does an equal job cleaning my pores at a fraction at the price. It’s also the first mask my husband was willing to try and he saw immediate results as well. This paired with the DE moisturizer has been my go-to.
I’m always very weary of trying out new laundry items because my skin and my sons’ skin are pretty sensitive. When I saw Stephanie Ledda rave about this plant-based, gentle softener, I wanted to give it a try. The smell is perfect for laundry. I was worried that it would be too floral or earthy, but it’s very clean smelling. I like that is still smells like laundry.
Let me know what your favorite products of the month were! Xoxo, Kirsten
