2019 has been a great year of discovering beauty products for me. I’ve found several holy grail status items. Not every category is here because I only wanted to included top shelf items. Here is the cream of the crop.
Pixi Glow Tonic: I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve repurchased this. It’s effective and gentle. I’ve tried various other toners, but so far this one is my go-to.
Pixi Rose Oil: I love to slather this on my face and neck at night when I’m feeling dry. It plumps my skin up and makes it feel so soft.
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer: I use this morning and evening. It’s balmy, sinks into my skin, and makes me feel moisturized but not greasy. The price tag is unfortunate, but I keep coming back to it.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery: This is my favorite face sunscreen. It’s lightweight, and I like the smell (it’s a very sunscreeny smell). This is another expensive item, but it did last me an entire summer. Keep an eye out for it on the Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick: I’ve almost gone through two sample sizes of this product. They last forever. When my pores are on the larger side, this is the product I grab. Most pore filling products pill up on my skin, but this one doesn’t. It really smooths out pores and is undetectable. I would also recommend it to any one that wants to smooth out pores without looking like they are wearing makeup.
Glossier Bomb Dot Com: I put this on every morning at the start of my makeup routine. It’s hydrating, but it doesn’t leave a weird film before applying other lip products at the end of my makeup routine. I’ve only tried the coconut scent, but they all look appealing. I have my eyes on others, but this one has lasted forever.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I love applying this at the end of nighttime skincare routine and wake up with rehydrated lips. It also lasted a long while.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer: This is the only concealer I’ve used in quite some time. I have three different shades I mix and match with. It’s so creamy but long lasting. I can use it under my eyes and on my face. It’s perfect.
Becca Undereye Corrector: After baby number two, my undereyes needed some help. This bring light to my undereyes and reflects light to brighten. It’s also kind of juicy, which would seem like a nightmare for undereyes but isn’t.
Sephora Mini 55.5 Brush: I’ve never loved a brush more. It fits into all my crevices and even though it’s pretty dense, it doesn’t swallow product up. I use it for concealer.
Glossier Play Blade Sharpener: I feel silly loving a sharpener so much, but it’s so satisfying. This one has a simple and effective design compared to ones I’ve tried in the past.
Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions: you already know- this is the only mascara I use on my lower lashes. It never ever smudges. It’s a tubing mascara, which is basically magic.
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Vol. II: This is my top lash pick. Plumping and lengthening; I love it so much.
Buxom Wanderlust Blush: This is the prettiest blush. It has a subtle glow that doesn’t enhance texture. I have it in the color Seychelles and find it works with any makeup look.
