On the mornings where I need to move efficiently but still want to look pulled together, this is the makeup look I do. This isn’t for oversleep, get out in five, but it’s a look I can count on and create with little thought or worry.
The first steps in my routine are all about evening out my complexion. I also put Glossier Balm Dot Com to hydrate my lips. I start with a large, flat eye brush and dab the Becca eye corrector to the darkness around my eyes. Then I’ll apply the Dior Backstage foundation with my hands. I dot on the Too Faced Born This Way concealer under my eyes and on any discoloration or spots I want to conceal. I use the Sephora mini 55.5 to blend my concealer in. If I’m worried about makeup moving or have a spot I really want to stay put, I’ll tap on a little Coty Airspun powder, but this doesn’t happen often.
Next, I’ll use my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer to define my crease and undereyes. I’ll add light by applying the Thrive Causemetics eye brightening stick in Aurora. I like to tap it on my lid with my fingers. I’ve been using Lancome’s eyeliner, but sometimes I’ll use a dark eyeshadow for a softer look. To highlight my inner crease, I’ll use a small brush to apply Mac Nylon.
Top it off.
Lastly, I use the same bronzer on the perimeter of my face and Buxom’s Wanderlust bronzer in Seychelles on all my high points. I usually finish by patting in Tarte’s colorsplash lipstick for a blotted look or Dior’s lip glow for a little shine.
