I’m very fickle when it comes to makeup and skincare. I like to use products till they are empty (unless they are terrible), but it takes a special product for me to repurchase instead of trying something new. And it’s even rarer for me to repurchase an item multiple times. I’m constantly on the hunt for the best. These are products that I have repurchased without a second thought and have solved a makeup or skincare issue for me.

1. Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extension Mascara

I have raved about this mascara multiple times. It’s the only mascara I wear on my lower lash line. I was so frustrated with mascara leaving dots and smears under my eyes. I tried baking and multiple different mascaras to try to remedy this issue. I didn’t like wearing powder under my eyes because it always looked dry, and no matter the mascara formula I used, always smeared. Enter this mascara. It’s a tubing formula so it doesn’t budge until I wash my face. I can have the dewiest under-eyes, and it doesn’t move. It’s magical.

2. Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic:

I love what this product does to my skin. I really feel glowy after using it. Recently, I tried using a different toner and immediately noticed a regrettable difference in my skin. Pixi Glow Tonic is exfoliating but gentle, and that’s exactly what my skin needs.

3. Too Faced Born This Way Concealer

I’ve tested many concealers, and this one performs the best on my skin. Some others seemed to just sit on top of my skin or make me look very dry. This one stays put and conceals, but it doesn’t look dry and cakey. I also like that I can go in later to touch up and it doesn’t build up weirdly.

4. Mac Fix+

It took me a long time to try this product because I didn’t believe all the hype. I just assumed this was like every other setting spray. Well, I’m not on bottle number three. I love how this melts my powder products (especially highlighter) into my skin and gives me a dewy finish. It also has a very pleasant smell.

5. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

My lips are so soft because of this mask. I’ve never been a chapstick girl because I felt like they never got the job done, and I’m more of a gloss wearer. This one works and leaves a really pretty finish on my lips, which technically shouldn’t matter because I’m sleeping in it, but it’s still nice. I do sometimes wear it when I have really natural makeup looks on, but keep in mind that they recommend only wearing it at night because of the exfoliating properties. I’m just rebellious.

Let me know what your hero products are!

Xo,

Kirsten
