I’ve always loved the look of crisp white sneakers, but this season I wanted to give something new a try. Last December I noticed a girl wearing white booties (I almost titled this blog post White Booties Multiple Ways, but I didn’t want to draw the wrong crowd). They were adorable, and she did an awesome job styling them. At first I thought they were too bold for me. Eight months later, I have my own pair. I found these at Dillard’s; they are Lucky Brand.
I really thought on this shoe purchase. When it comes to pricier items, I am not an impulse buyer. I don’t like feeling buyer’s remorse. So, when I got these boots home I immediately started styling them. I wanted to ensure that I would get good use out of them. These shoes are great for looks now and into winter. Here are the different ways I plan on styling them.
A warm-weather friendly way to style these is with a dress. I like how the sleek boots look with a flowy dress. When it gets cooler, this look would look great with an oversized cardigan or jean jacket.
Another way is a tank and skirt combo. I like how this mock neck tank looks with a button up skirt; it has a 60’s vibe to it. The white booties just amplifies that look. It’s gogo-ish without being over-the-top.
Shorts and a button up is a nice transitional outfit. It’s a fall feel without being sweltering. I have a couple of these button up shirts from Express and I’ve worn them so many different ways.
I love shorts with a long sleeve shirt. It’s one of my favorite looks ever. The look reminds me of Princess Diana and my mom (two of my main fashion inspos). This Gap thermal is going to get some serious love this year.
I’m obviously a big fan of button ups. I like that this one has a western feel to it without being over the top. Black and white is one of my favorite color combos.
These booties will also look great paired with jeans and a nice sweater. Cozy and cute. Pink and red are also colors I like to pair with white.
What looks are you most excited to wear this fall? Do you have an item you look forward to wearing? Let me know!
