I’ve had my eyes on Kosas for awhile now. Their aesthetic is cool girl, effortless chic. I also like that they are a clean brand. This product launch happened at exactly the right time. I was looking for an all in one type product. Most days I wear lazy girl contour, blush, warm bronzer, and highlight. For lazy summer days I wanted something that knocked out a couple of those steps.
A couple products that came to mind were Becca’s Chrissy Teigen endless summer bronze and glow or the Nars mosaic glow blush. The bright highlight in these products steered me away, though. The Kosas Sun Show Moisturizing Bronzer was a perfect answer to what I was looking for. I’ve been wearing the shade medium. It’s warm and glowy. I use it in my bronzer/blush placement, and it gives enough pop that I don’t have to wear any highlight.
The packaging is so pretty; I love the color and transparency. While I don’t feel like this bronzer adds moisture, it does allow for a smooth application that doesn’t emphasize texture. I like the pretty sheen it gives my skin without any glitter. You can see shimmer in the formula (mica), but I think it actually helps the product blend out. If you’re looking for a bronzer to double as contour, this isn’t it. The color and texture does not mimic shadows at all. On initial application it did give quite a bit of kick up, but that was a one time experience.
Overall, this product gives a lovely sunkissed glow. I think it gives the perfect touched by the sun bronze and pink color with a pretty sheen. The baked formula also prevents your hair from sticking to it. I love it for a juicy summer look.
